Among the first ICSSR aided institutions to install a computer, the Centre has for years been organising an annual course on `Computer Application in Social Sciences'. The programme is supported by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. The course provides theoretical and practical training in computer applications in social science research. Interested candidates are requested to contact Vimal Trivedi, the Course Director. CSS also organises training programmes on a variety of social science and development issues like panchayati raj, labour rights, ethics in health research etc.
