Besides making its library and data base available to interested research scholars, the Centre has for years been offering a Guidance and Consultancy Scheme supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. Faculty members at CSS help younger research scholars including college and university teachers in developing research designs and implementing the same. Till date, CSS has provided this service to more than 180 scholars for their M Phil and/or PhD dissertations.
